Joseph Willock grew up in the Portland Metro Area. He was raised by a single mother who overcame her own addiction and dedicated her life to helping others. When Joe grew into adulthood he found himself repeating the patterns he grew up being warned about. His addiction grew to the point where found himself in a mountain of bad decisions, consequences, and seemingly no way out. In and out of perpetual homelessness and jail stints, Joe decided to turn his life around.
Joe has worked with HOPE Guides for more than 3 years. Since getting sober, he has become a husband, father, and mentor to many. Joe believes everyone’s process looks a little different and he uses his life experiences to help others become their true and authentic selves.
